Operations Manager – R2 Sealant Systems

Are you an experienced operations professional ready to take the next step in your career? R2 Sealant Systems is seeking a driven Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse receiving operations. This leadership role is perfect for someone with strong management skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating efficient, safe, and well-organized processes.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading our receiving team, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of raw materials, packaging supplies, and inbound shipments. This role also oversees inventory control, compliance, and safety within the receiving department while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspecting, and documenting inbound shipments.

• Verify delivery schedules with procurement and production teams and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile variances to ensure accuracy and traceability.

• Lead, train, and support receiving team members to meet operational goals.

• Schedule tasks to maintain efficient workflow and coverage.

• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus).

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse receiving or inventory control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, WMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus).

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
