Production Supervisor – R2 Sealant Systems
Location: Massillon, OH
Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Overtime as Required
Job Type: Full-time

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? R2 Sealant Systems is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on our production floor. Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality. This role leads hourly production employees, coordinates workflow, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees; conduct training and provide ongoing performance feedback

• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

• Monitor production schedules, labor utilization, and equipment performance

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime

• Ensure products meet quality specifications and support quality audits and inspections

• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning teams to maintain workflow efficiency

• Maintain accurate production reports, shift logs, and documentation

• Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor

• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production metrics

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and basic computer skills (Excel, reporting tools)

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment

• Standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
