Shipping Supervisor – R2 Sealant Systems

Job Summary

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for leading the shipping team and ensuring that all outbound orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. From scheduling shipments to coaching team members, this role plays a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring customers receive the quality and reliability they expect from R2.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping activities, including picking, packing, labeling, and processing orders.

• Monitor shipping schedules to meet customer deadlines.

• Partner with carriers and freight companies to arrange timely pickups and deliveries.

• Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and proper packaging.

• Train, coach, and evaluate shipping team members to improve performance.

• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shipping area.

• Work with other departments to resolve shipping or logistics issues.

• Analyze shipping metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s degree s is a plus).

• 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.

• 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, carrier systems, and documentation.

• Experience with WMS and shipping software (UPS/FedEx platforms a plus).

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and ability to lead a team effectively.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
