Massillon, OH — Please join us in welcoming Aaron Crosland to the R2 Sealant Systems team as our new Maintenance Reliability Manager!

A Strong Background in Maintenance & Reliability

Aaron brings a strong background in industrial maintenance and reliability, with experience from machine shops to the oil & gas industry. Throughout his career, he has advanced through roles including Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Reliability Technician, and Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, building a strong foundation in maintenance systems and operational reliability along the way.

“What attracted me most was the opportunity to take a maintenance program to the next level,” Aaron shared. With R2 continuing to invest in growth, equipment, and operational excellence, Aaron’s experience will play an important role in supporting uptime, improving efficiencies, and helping ensure our operations continue running at the highest level possible.

First Impressions of R2

Since joining R2, Aaron says one of his first impressions was the positive atmosphere throughout the company.

“What stood out right away was how happy people seemed, from the leadership team to the shop floor. The facility is new, looks great inside and out, and the grounds are well maintained.”

Aaron also noted the pride employees take in both the workplace and the work being done every day. He shared that the welcoming environment and strong company culture immediately stood out to him, reinforcing his excitement about joining the R2 team and contributing to its continued growth.

Building a Strong Operations Team

Aaron believes that strong leadership, clear communication, solid processes, and a results-focused mindset are the keys to building a successful operations team. He also emphasizes leading by example and addressing concerns early to foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

He shared that creating a strong maintenance and operations environment starts with consistency, teamwork, and proactive problem solving. By focusing on preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and open communication across departments, Aaron hopes to help support efficient production, minimize downtime, and contribute to the long-term success of R2 Sealant Systems.

Looking Ahead at Growth & Reliability

Looking ahead, Aaron is excited about the future growth of R2 Sealant Systems and the opportunity to contribute through improved equipment reliability and preventive maintenance initiatives.

“By learning the equipment and analyzing breakdown data, I can build a strong preventive maintenance program to improve uptime and get more product out the door.”

Aaron also shared his excitement about the company’s future:

“I see R2 outgrowing this facility soon, we’re already discussing new production line installations, which is exciting.”

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys watching baseball and football, fishing, hunting, working on projects, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
